Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist and in most cases information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
In the state of Texas there are several exceptions to confidentiality; most involve taking action to protect you and others from harm, including children and elderly or disabled/incapacitated adults. Please note, that every effort will be made to discuss the need to break confidentiality prior to taking such action. A full discussion of limits to confidentiality will occur at the beginning of your first appointment.
If you have any questions about confidentiality or your right to privacy, please discuss them with me at any time during treatment.
